My name is Brian Lindvall.

I am a 30-something living in NYC with an affinity for branding, architecture, music, and communications. I am a Partner and Director at DBOX, and a founding member of Voices of Gotham, a 501(c)(3) arts organization based in New York City. I graduated from Princeton University in 2006, where I studied Architecture. I am an avowed "dog person" who accidentally acquired two cats. Other interests include music theory and acoustics, woodworking, and Memphis BBQ.


I am a Partner and Director at DBOX, an Emmy Award-Winning Branding & Creative Agency in Manhattan. I wear a lot of hats: Brand Strategist, Project Director, Architectural Illustrator, Social Media Guy, Photographer, Copywriter, etc. I have led numerous projects in high level commercial and luxury residential real estate, working with top developers and architects internationally. My involvement with these projects begins with initial positioning/strategy stages and extends through final delivery of print collateral, digital tools, marketing centers, and advertising campaigns.

Current and former projects include 432 Park Avenue, The Towers by Foster + Partners, 50 West, Bay Park Centre, Brooklyn Trust, 388 Bridge, the Penthouses at 277 Park Avenue, the Continental, 7 Bryant Park, 510 West 22nd Street, 837 Washington, and the rebranding of the architectural firm COOKFOX. I have also been featured in The New York Times, The Real Deal, and Departures as Branding/Strategic specialist.


I attended Princeton University (Class of 2006; A.B. in Architecture, cum laude), where I studied Architecture and wrote a nationally award-winning thesis on Architectural Acoustics. While at Princeton, I was the Music Director of the Princeton Tigertones, a 60-year old men’s a cappella group with whom I recorded two albums, arranged 8 songs for performance and recording, and toured internationally [Tokyo, Rome, Paris, London, Geneva, Nice, Bermuda, Munich, Cologne, Amsterdam].

Post-graduation, I have continued to focus on my education, taking courses at NYU and General Assembly in Digital Brand Strategy and Marketing.


I am a founding member and two-term former President of Voices of Gotham. Founded in 2008, the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit chorus is now 90 members strong and recognized as one of the top ten barbershop choruses in the world. As Marketing VP, I spearheaded a rebranding initiative and formed a marketing committee with dedicated Social Media, Merchandising and Graphic Design arms. During my tenure as President, My core tenets as President of the organization included a focus on community outreach, internal organization, peer-to-peer learning, and artistic preservation of the barbershop artform. Recently, I was part of a three-person team that planned a webcast performance that reached 110,000 unique viewers in 35 countries, and led a Fundraising campaign that achieved 122% of its goal.
